Friday Greetings From Vee with Steampunk Sally

Good Morning, All

My name is Vee and I am from Scotland, UK.

I am delighted to have won a spot on the Design Team at 

Delicious Doodles.

YAAY!

 To be working with such a talented and friendly group is a joy.

And to have the opportunity of working with the amazing

artwork by the enormously talented Teri Sherman is such an honour.

Teri creates inspirational and beautiful images

in a very wide range of genres and these provide 

inspiration and joy to other artists and designers the world over.

So this post is to let you know a little about me. Here goes. 

I don't really like talking/writing about myself!! So bye!! 

Okay I like to joke!

I love all arty crafty persuits; the messier the better. I like everything 

from card making to jewellery making. Always willing to try new things.

I have two sons who are grown and flown.

I have some rather challenging health issues and crafting affords an escape.

 I like a good giggle but it can't be at anyone else's expense. 

I hope we will get to know each other better over the various challenges 

which are about to return on   ....

Hi from Tulsa!

My name is Aletha and I live in Tulsa, OK. I am so excited, and humbled, to have been chosen as one of the new Delicious Doodles Design Team. I have been lurking around Teri’s site and FB group for awhile now. I think I own just about every single digi she has, also a few rubber ones from SPS. When she made the announcement for a Design Team Call, I took the bait. I am so glad that I did!

A little bit about me…I am a self-taught artist all around. My husband calls it “raw talent.” I was a graphic/print production artist in the old days…meaning that my art was all done manually. There were no computers involved. I have had no formal training in any of the creative areas that I have worked in through the long years. It was all “on-the-job-training.”

Now, I get to concentrate on my creative side. As of November 2009, I became disabled and unable to work outside the home. I am on oxygen 24/7 and with the supportive husband that I have, I am thankful to say that I am a very lucky artist. I am able to practice more each day.

We also have two grown children, a daughter and son. Our daughter and son-in-law have blessed us with two grandsons, 17 and 14 years old. Our son married in 2009 to a wonderful young lady. He also just passed the Texas Bar! We are so proud of both of them! .

Enough about me…today I am showcasing one of the ATCs that I have created for an ATC swap that I am participating in. Meet Black Pearl. I thought that she was perfect for an ATC. I love all of Delicious Doodles mermaids, but Black Pearl's lounging position, and her elbow on top of that skull, was perfect. I have colored Black Pearl with Letraset Aqua Markers, watercolor pencils, Spica pens, and PrismaColor pencils. There is a lot of layering of colors for this project.

I do have two blogs, AJ’s Designs and AJ’s Alternative Endeavors. I will be using both blogs for Delicious Doodles. Teri’s images range from beautiful to beautifully dark and both of my blogs will be kept busy!

Thanks again, Teri and all of you, for this wonderful opportunity! I look forward to this new adventure and working with such a talented group of artists!

Introducing Pascale

Hi I am Pascale and I have been on the DT at Delicious Doodles Challenge since it's creation 3 years ago. I love working with the great spectrum of cute to dark images that Teri doodles. I have to say my   favourite ones are the Emo images, Mermaids and Fairies.

Using Zombie Pirate

I am a mum to 4 children aged 12-4 two boys and two girls. I have been with my partner for nearly 17 years and we live in Bermondsey in London. I am trying to get a small business up and off the ground but I am currently seeking part-time employment too. All my spare time is spent Papercrafting, Sewing, jewellery making and designing on my computer.

I am showcasing some of Teri's darker side images today. I have been making some Halloween Treats. I made some unique note pads to jot down information whilst you are on the phone and such like.

I am looking forward to the challenges starting again on September 7th and hope you will play along with us xxx

Hi from Kasey

I'm Kasey, usually known as Kasey ~ in Oz online, I'm so overwhelmed and thankful for being selected to be a part of Teri's design team, followers of my blog will know I've got a few of Teri's images and have been posting them fairly often.  I live in sunny North Queensland Australia (hence the in Oz tag).  

I've always had to be doing something creative, I've turned my hand to many crafts over the years such as Ceramics, Lead Lighting, Millinery, Beading, Sewing, Crochet and then I found Papercraft, specifically card making although I do dabble occasionally in scrapbooking and off the page items.  I tend to mainly use Copic Markers now and make cards and journal pages.

Hi, I'm Anne

Hello to crafters everywhere and especially those who love Delicious Doodles images.  My name is Anne and I am honoured and priviledged to be chosen by Teri and her fab team to create projects using Teri's amazing images.  I am not a complete stranger to Delicious Doodles having been a team member in the early days but work comitments and IT problems combined forced me to reluctantly pull out.  But I'm back now and I hope that I am going to be able to do Teri's art justice.

Meet the New DT Members

Hiya folks!

Oh Boy, we had a hard time narrowing down all the fabulous entries we had for our DT Call.

It is always such  hard decision to make, as we would love to take everyone on!!

BUT sadly there are some folk who didn't make it onto the team, and I would just like to say a

BIG SORRY

to all those who tried out but didn't get here in the end. I would also like to apologize for not emailing each and every one of you, but there were so many, I would have run out of hankies by the time I had finished!

DT Call Closed

Many, many thank you's to all the lovely ladies who applied for our seven DT positions.

How I wish I could take you all on board! But sadly that cannot be.

We are going through all your blogs as we speak, this will take a day or three with some of my DT being on holls etc., and wanting to play their part in the choosing of our newbies! lol

We shall be announcing our newest members within the next week or so, so keep your eyes peeled for that announcement folks!
